Live Artist and Networking Engineer Katie Etheridge presents Faceback (TM) throughout the day. Join the Sonic Illuminations Faceback (TM) community and meet real live filmmakers, composers, musicians and artists! Its as easy as having your photo taken. Your face is turned into a badge and worn by someone you haven't met yet. Your mission is to get your Face back! Join up at the Faceback (TM) desk in the foyer, next to the spnm information table. Who's wearing your Face?
1. Have your Face made into a badge
2. Take and wear someone else's Face badge
3. Look out for both your Face and the person whose Face badge you are wearing
4. Make contact and swap badges
5. When you get your Faceback (TM) you can keep it, or come back and swap it for another to stay in the game!
Katie Etheridge is an artist who works across live performance, video, installation, and sound, to make work that responds to, and seeks to create meaningful connections with local people and places. Faceback (TM) was originally commissioned by New Work Network.
Calling all filmmakers, composers and sound-artists!
We're looking for composer / sound artist and filmmaker partnerships
to create new audio-visual works about London’s Kings Cross area. The
works will be presented on Sunday 5 October 2008, as part of the
opening week of Kings Place, a major new music and arts venue near
